     ...but even I was surprised by a recent consulting engagement I did for one of our community members. From an analysis of their data through the eyes of the ERD, we found that they could increase their bottom line net income by over $250,000. Impressive? Sure! Typical? Not sure. I haven't performed a second consult yet since I never offered the service, but I will now.

     The purpose of the CPS Executive Reports Dashboard is to provide management insight into the operation of their golf courses. As in any business, a lot of numbers are generated. However, in golf, there are only several that really matter:

1) Who are your best customers?
2) Which customers did you acquire this year or who defected?
3) Where do your customers come from?
4) Is the inventory properly stocked with the right vendors and the right price points?
5) Are the green fees properly set?

     These reports answer those questions by providing multiple data points that can be examined to adjust current practices to maximize the investment return from the golf course.

     Here is the deal... Once per quarter, I will offer to review your data via the Executive Reports Dashboard. I will bring a copy of your data to our office, review, analyze and consolidate up to 15 reports comparing the current and prior year and current and prior reviews, where applicable.

     As an add-on to the Consulting Service, you can also subscribe to the Executive Reports Dashboard which can be installed on your server so that designated personnel can have real-time access to the ERD reports from any web browser at any time. This is the same toolset I will be using to analyze your data.

     We offer the Consulting and ERD product in this sequence because we believe that the best course to success is to be mentored in the use of the ERD information, which can be overwhelming at first glance. After several iterations of the Quarterly Consulting Reviews, you should be able to produce and analyze the reports without our help. After 18 to 24 months, you may want to install the ERD on your server and proceed on your own. Of course, you would always have the option to have us review your reports for and/or with you as needed.

     Another consideration is that we are in the position of seeing data from a multitude and variety of facilities around the world. This gives us some unique perspectives on best practices that we can apply to your facility. That perspective tends to come into play the most during the first couple iterations of ERD reviews.

     Introductory offer: The consulting service will cost you $500 per quarter. This is at best a break-even number for me, as it takes several days to analyze and compile the executive summary and consolidated report. Why would I do this at such a low price? Because our success depends on your success. Could you do this on your own? You bet! Our hope is that you eventually do by subscribing to the ERD product on your own at $50 per course per month.

     Limited Offer: There is only one of me. I cannot do this for everyone unless I hire more staff and to do that I need a bigger building (or smaller people)! So... at least for now, I will only accept the first 10 facilities that reply and commit to this offer.
